Hours:40 per week with 1 in 5 non-resident on call
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a doctor to gain experience in Palliative Medicine at St Gemmas Hospice Leeds.
We are looking for a fixed term Hospice Specialty Doctor of FY3 level or above to support the medical team on the In-Patient Unit providing palliative care to patients.
The prime purpose of this role is to provide holistic patient-focused care and to work as an integrated member of the multi-disciplinary team. You will be supported in your decision making by the Palliative Care Consultants Specialty training registrar doctors and multi-disciplinary team.
You will be part of a supportive and dynamic medical team which consists of 4 Consultants in Palliative Medicine alongside trainees in Palliative medicine Internal Medicine General Practice and Foundation Year 2.
