Job Summary:
Post-doctoral fellow position in the Kohler laboratory working within the Cell Therapy Research Group at the University of Colorado. Fellows will conduct mechanistic and translational research in preclinical models of Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T cells.
Key responsibility is to lead a research project studying CAR T cell biology in models of leukemia.
Responsible for development and conduct of project(s) within the scope of funded and future projects.
Maintain accurate lab notebook and primary data.
Work independently with supervision from Dr. Kohler
Present data to lab and group lab meetings.
Write project summaries and manuscripts.
Supervision of students and Professional Research Assistants within the lab

Onsite this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora Colorado.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Doctor in Philosophy (PhD) in Immunology Cancer Biology Molecular Biology Biochemistry or related field in the bio-medical sciences.
Experience in cell culture and basic molecular biology techniques
Experience in standard computer software related to writing data analysis and data presentation.
Condition of Employment:
Willingness to conduct in vivo experiments in mouse models
Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal background check
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
PhD level knowledge and understanding of basic cellular and molecular biology
Expertise in cell culture techniques
Expertise in basic molecular biology techniques
Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:
$62232 to $66492.
The above hiring range represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
