The purpose of the Small Business Direct team is to virtually deliver Truist to a segment of Small Business clients with a focus of delivering ease expertise and care. The team is comprised of multiple roles serving two segments of clients.

The Small Business Direct Advisor works alongside a pre-defined team to deliver relationship managed advice and expertise in a pooled model approach.
The book of business managed by Small Business Direct Advisors is typically complex in nature and includes though not limited to depository treasury lending and premier solutions.
Small Business Direct Advisors will leverage their small business expertise and business acumen to facilitate relationship building and advisory conversations.
They will partner with the Integrated Relationship Management team to deliver a suite of solutions tailored to solve the needs of clients and prospects and ensure service levels are exemplary.
Small Business Direct Advisors are responsible for exhibiting key behaviors that align with Truist Code of Ethics and support our risk management culture exercising sound judgment and executing assigned responsibilities with integrity and honesty.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

with clients via telephone to assess client needs review financial management practices and solutions conduct a cash cycle conversation and make recommendations for products and services where needed.

application and fulfillment process directly on some solutions.

referrals to product and fulfillment experts as required.
exceptional communication skills: clear concise and friendly conversationalist.

and identify potential opportunities through value-added Small Business life cycle conversations with clients and prospects.

complex issues for clients by maintaining a strong understanding of resources within Truist. Leverage branch care center and other partners to deliver an exceptional client experience.

network and contacts in a virtual environment to deliver for clients and prospects. This includes partnering with Integrated Relationship Management and supporting partner teammates to deliver high-quality strategic business reviews that drive revenue growth retention and exceptional client service.

product and solution opportunity pipeline to fulfillment including deposit loan and fee-based services (follow-up with partners/support teammates document conversations fulfill solutions etc.) in a fast-paced environment.

business acumen industry knowledge and organizational skills through pre-call planning advising and follow-up.

understanding of Truist capabilities and solutions and general industry/market trends.

individual performance goals of revenue/profit growth matrix client experience and operational / risk expectations while participating as an integral member contributing to the overall teams performance.

to technology enhancements swiftly and advise clients on new digital solutions.

concerns promptly to their leader for awareness while complying with all operational risk and credit requirements.

in client events both virtually and in-person to include but not limited to financial education business lifecycle advisory and client celebration.


QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in accounting or finance or equivalent financial services education training and work-related experience
2. 5 years sales / client management relationship with Small Business or Business Banking clients
3. General knowledge of business banking products lending cash cycle sales process and remaining current on market/industry/business knowledge
4. Relationship-building and negotiation skills with clients management and partners Excellent verbal and written communication skills
5. Proficiency in basic computer applications including Microsoft Office and virtual connectivity software.
