The department also manages OPLs website social media platforms and graphic design needs for the addition it handles media relations community outreach special events and builds strong connections between the library and the community it serves.

Any combination of education and experience that is equivalent to the following minimum qualifications may be acceptable:
Education:
AA degree in computer science or related field including coursework in web programming and current web technology.
Experience:
One year of experience in communication arts computer science website development and/or editing or related field.
Desirable Qualifications:- Proficiency in web design and development (HTML CSS JavaScript responsive design)
- Experience with content management systems (e.g. Drupal WordPress LibGuides BiblioCommons)
- Familiarity with integrating library systems databases and authentication tools
- Experience in library services and resources and familiarity with community needs
- Experience with user testing and incorporating feedback to make improvements
