The Roles
With continued growth across NSW were looking for experienced Civil Project Supervisors and Construction Workers to join our team on a minimum 6-month surface-based project near Dubbo NSW.
This is a FIFO or DIDO opportunity with all accommodation provided. The work involves all aspects of civil construction for surface infrastructure related to mining projects.
Project is set to commence in 34 weeks so immediate availability is essential.
We are looking for:
- Project Supervisors
- Formworkers
- Concreters
- Steel fixers
Selection Criteria:
Supervisors:
- Proven experience supervising civil construction projects (mining or heavy industrial preferred)
- Strong knowledge of concrete works formwork systems and rebar installation
- Excellent leadership organisation and communication skills
- Able to interpret technical drawings and work packs
Civil Workers:
- High-level of attention to detail
- Ability to work independently without supervision and be part of a team.
- Attention to detail and diligence for quality of work
- Relevant Trade Qualifications or experience
- Proven ability to always adhere to safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
- Are available to go to an interstate mine site when required.
- Must be able to pass regular D&A testing and site required medicals
- Must have current drivers licence
- High risk tickets Working at Heights EWP Forklift Confined Space Dogging Rigging etc also would be an advantage.
