The University of Chicagos Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience is searching for a full-time faculty member at the rank of Professor. The appointee will be a leader in clinical care and mental health services research focused on the integration of behavioral health services into diabetes care management for children. The appointee will provide assessments and evidence-based interventions for patients with mental health disorders related to diabetes care management and will interact with endocrinologists dietitians diabetes educators psychiatrists social workers and other healthcare professionals to inform shared treatment plans and provide clinical and consultative services to endocrinology providers. The appointee will also focus on increasing research collaboration with clinicians in the field of pediatric and adolescent diabetes care management. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students and scholarly activity. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent upon qualifications.
