Job Summary

Dog Day Care Attendant Duties and Responsibilities:

Give dogs water throughout the day
Take dogs for walks
Handle bathing and grooming tasks as needed
Clean and maintain daycare keeping it free of waste and other unsanitary or hazardous materials
Supervise play areas to ensure pet safety
Keep records of pets health and walking schedules for each dog
Perform light receptionist duties such as answering phones and emails

Qualifications :

Required skills:

Experience with large dogs
Experience working in a Resort and/or Day Camp
Will be outside for a majority of their shifts

We are looking for someone with:

Prior experience at a dog daycare facility shelter or in personal animal care
Familiarity with various dog breeds
Passion for taking care of animals
Teamwork and communication skills
Physical stamina for this very high physically demanding job
Ability to be outside even when the weather is good or bad required
Ability to life 40 pounds required
Ability to restrain a large dog on a leash and handle dogs in a group play environment required

Additional Information :

Pay Range: $12/hr
