Are you an experienced accounting professional looking to grow your career in a dynamic team-focused environment IK Systems is seeking a Staff Accountant to support our Controller with daily accounting operations AR/AP management reconciliations and cash flow assistance. This role is ideal for someone with bookkeeping or staff accounting experience who thrives on accuracy organization and adaptability.
What Youll Do
Assist with accounts receivable accounts payable bank reconciliations and general ledger entries.
Reconcile receipts and ensure accurate records including vendor credits and manufacturer pricing adjustments.
Support the Controller in monitoring and coordinating cash flow across multiple banks and credit cards.
Contribute to month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with GAAP internal controls and company policies.
Partner with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and streamline workflows.
Prepare supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
What Were Looking For
Associates degree in Accounting Finance or related field (Bachelors preferred).
3 years of experience in bookkeeping accounts payable/receivable or staff accounting.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles GAAP and internal controls.
Proficiency in Excel and accounting software with a proven eye for detail in reconciling high-volume transactions.
Organized adaptable and able to direct daily work while supporting Controller priorities.
Strong communication skills and a team-first approach.
