The American Heart Association has an opportunity for aProject Coordinator to support our Hospital Quality and American Stroke Association teams. This position can be home-based and Nevada is the preferred location.
This is a full time benefits eligible grant funded opportunity. Current funding will expire on 6/30/2027 with the possibility of extension.
The Project Coordinator will support the administration and coordination of grant-funded rural cardiovascular projects. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth project operations by managing logistics facilitating communications and maintaining timely progress on deliverables. The Project Coordinator will collaborate closely with internal teams external partners and vendors to advance program goals and outcomes.

Responsibilities
Provide Meeting & Project Support
Schedule prepare and coordinate follow-up for grant-funded project meetings including internal team meetings stakeholder check-ins and external partner sessions.
Coordinate Translations Events & Logistics
Organize planning and logistics for continuing education workshops trainings and conferences.
Manage Communication & Timelines
Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal staff and external partners to ensure deliverables are completed on time and project deadlines are met.
Perform Administrative & Financial Support
Maintain accurate project documentation process outreach and agreements and assist with monitoring and tracking project budgets to support client and vendor onboarding.
Collaborate Across Teams
Work closely with program consultants cross-functional teams and external partners to align priorities and deliver high-quality results within established timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Minimum of three years of relevant professional experience.
- Administrative support and/or project management experience is required.
- Strong ability to communicate build relationships gain trust and work effectively with and through volunteers.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate proactively and effectively across multiple audiences.
- Strong organizational and process management skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook) and general computer applications.
- Knowledge of business English grammar spelling and punctuation.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as an effective team player.
- Familiarity with nonprofit operations resources and functions is preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 5% and overnight stay
Compensation & Benefits
The expected pay range will be $45000 to $55000. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply. The American Heart Association reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range. The American Heart Association invests in its people.
