Job Summary
The Manager Strategy and Corporate Development will be responsible for supporting the VP Strategy and Business Development in all aspects of corporate development long term strategic planning and business development initiatives. This role involves developing and managing financial models review and recommend potential M&A opportunities and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. The position requires a strong analytical mindset financial modelling skills attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Key responsibilities include:
Develop and maintain complex financial models to support long-term planning.
Analyze due diligence materials for potential M&A and prepare recommendations.
Assist in driving cross functional strategic initiatives with strategic and financial support.
Develop market research analysis and identify industry trends.
Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support business initiatives and strategic projects.
Assist in the preparation of presentations for the Board of Directors and executive leadership.
Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and financial reporting tools.
Experience with corporate development valuations and M&A processes
Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Intellectual curiosity an eagerness to learn and a thoughtful diligent and proactive approach to gathering information
The ideal candidate will possess:
3-5 years in a corporate development and/or financial analysis role.
Experience in the telecommunications infrastructure or technology sector is a plus.
Strong attention to detail
Takes initiative and has a curiosity to learn more about the telecom industry
Strong communication skills and collaborator
