Job Description

The Clinical Informatics Program Coordinator supports the Chief Medical Informatics Officer (CMIO) and the Clinical Informatics (CI) Program at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Childrens Hospital. Coordinates the daily operations of the Clinical Informatics Team acting as a key resource for the programs leadership team. Responsibilities include managing and organizing activities to ensure various CI programs run smoothly. The Program Coordinator is responsible for planning organizing and controlling processes to achieve program objectives within scope time quality and budget constraints.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Supports CMIO Informatics Team and Core Informaticists in daily operations of CI programs and key initiatives.

  • Coordinates Informatics-owned committees including Provider Advisory Council and Clinical Applications Review and Enhancement Committee.

  • Partners with Medical Director Residency Informatics in coordination of Residency Elective Program by organizing curriculum resources and faculty for each elective offering.

  • Manages portfolio of Clinical Informatics ABP Maintenance of Certification (MOC) and other health professional requirements for Provider Advisory Council Documentation Optimization and future MOC programs and assists eligible members with MOC application process.

  • Coordinates and disseminates T.A.C.O. Tuesday newsletters.

  • Maintains Clinical Informatics resources including AllConnect site and provider training resources.

  • Provides comprehensive programmatic support including developing presentation materials managing basic tracking spreadsheets submitting reimbursements coordinating communications and facilitating complex scheduling and calendar management.

  • Plans and takes proactive steps to minimize delays in program deliverables.

  • Regularly communicates with management regarding the programs status and any problems or potential problems.

  • Assists with the collection of feedback to improve future programs/services.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelors degree in related field required.

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Pay Range

$59280.00-$96928.00 Salary

At Lurie Childrens we are committed to competitive and fair compensation aligned with market rates and internal equity reflecting individual contributions experience and expertise. The pay range for this job indicates minimum and maximum targets for the position.
