Job Summary
Scope of Work:
The Senior Offshore Pipelines Engineer will be responsible to produce the following deliverables (Including but not limited to)
- Support to Project Design Basis
- Generate Piping MTO
- Pipeline General Layout Drawings
- Pipeline Section Drawings
- Pipeline Subsea Crossing Details
- Pipeline Specifications (Cleaning Dewatering Drying Nitrogen Inerting)
- Cathodic Protection Philosophy
- Conduct Stress Analysis
- Produce Pipeline Datasheets
- Pipeline Mechanical Design Report
- Construction Execution Report
- GIS Route Maps
- Support to Pipeline Construction Specification
Key Requirements:
- Typically holds a Masters Engineering degree (honours or equivalent) in Mechanical Civil Structural Naval Architecture or similar engineering discipline.
- Chartered status preferred must be a member of a Professional Engineering Institution.
- Exposure to FEED / detailed design and EPC projects.
- Strong experience of working for engineering / client organizations in the onshore / offshore oil and gas industry.
- Knowledge of subsea pipelines is also useful.
- Understanding of the fundamentals of pipeline engineering and of regulatory frameworks codes and standards.
- Experience in design and analysis of CO2 and H2 onshore and offshore pipelines in the Low Carbon sector is considered advantageous.
