CSU-SPA Research Intern


The CSU-SPA program invites students to apply for the Research Intern position to conduct independent
research under mentorship.
Job Description: This position will perform duties to include but not limited to:

* Conduct independent scholarly research under the mentorship of a faculty member.
* Report on progress of research as requested.
* Complete a written report of progress at the end of each semester.
* Complete all required paperwork.
* Perform other duties or projects as assigned.

Wage/Salary: $18.06/hr
Hours per Week: 5-20

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Undergraduate student must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
* Must meet all other eligibility requirements per Unit 11-Academic Student Employee Hiring Policies

* Must be currently accepted as an CSU-SPA participant.
* Must submit a research proposal with a faculty member before hiring.
* Must submit a current CITI Certificate before hiring (see )

CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CLEARANCE NOTICE

The university requires a criminal and/or child abuse background check to be completed for many of its new employees current employees seeking promotional or transfer opportunities and current employees assigned new duties. Satisfactory completion of a background check (including a criminal records check) is required for employment. CSU will make a conditional offer of employment which may be rescinded if the background check reveals disqualifying information and/or it is discovered that the candidate knowingly withheld or falsified information.
