Position Summary
The Ethics Program seeks a full-time continuing non-tenure faculty member whose primary responsibility will be to teach ETH 2050 (The Good Life: Ethics and Contemporary Moral Problems) a critical element of the core curriculum for undergraduates. 4/4 teaching load and service to the Ethics Program. Faculty have an opportunity to teach an ethics elective once a year after their first year. While there is no research expectation faculty are expected to remain current in their field of expertise. Minimum Qualifications
* Candidates should be on schedule to complete their Ph. D.s by the start date of the position. * Expertise in Christian ethics and competency in philosophical ethics; OR ** Expertise in philosophical ethics with a competency in Christian ethics.
Preferred Qualifications
* A completed Ph.D. at time of application. * Competency in some area of applied ethics
