Temporary Flow Cytometry Technologist (MLSMT)

Lighthouse Lab Services is excited to offer a travel opportunity for an experienced Flow Cytometry Technologist. This is a temporary 36 month contract designed for professionals who are ready to put their skills to work in a new environment while enjoying the benefits of this role youll join a dedicated laboratory team and take the lead in specimen processing and analysis for flow cytometry with a strong focus on accuracy compliance and quality.

Compensation and hours:
Expected compensation for this assignment is $32-$34 hour 1450/wk per diem.
For a 40-hour week equates to $68-$72/hr including per diem
Hourly wage is taxable per diem is weekly and tax free.
Expected hours is 40 per week M-F 8am-5pm

What Youll Do
As a Travel Flow Cytometry Specialist youll be responsible for the full process of handling and analyzing specimens including blood bone marrow tissue and fluids. Youll ensure that all testing is performed to the highest standards with minimal supervision while keeping instruments running smoothly through daily weekly and monthly maintenance. Your role will also include documenting quality control activities troubleshooting when results fall outside expected ranges and collaborating closely with physicians lab staff and supervisors to ensure patients receive timely and accurate results.

Preferred Experience
This position is a great fit for someone with proven flow cytometry expertise. Hands-on experience with the BD FACSCanto II is strongly preferred. Familiarity with Beckman Coulter DxFLEX or Navios systems is valued but not required. This is your chance to apply your technical knowledge in a new setting while also gaining exposure to different laboratory operations and practices.

What Were Looking For

• A Bachelors degree in Medical Technology Laboratory Science or related field (or equivalent work experience).

• 25 years of professional flow cytometry experience.

• ASCP certification is preferred.

• Strong understanding of CLIA 88 CAP and/or COLA requirements.

• Excellent communication skills along with proficiency in LIS EMR systems and Microsoft Office.
