Key job responsibilities
As a Battery Validation Support Engineer you will be responsible for battery cell and pack validation for our devices ensuring optimal performance safety and longevity. Youll collaborate with manufacturers and internal teams to validate batteries across a mix of ODM JDM and OEM programs. You will provide automation test scripts for internal and external testing. You will provide summary of test results detailed diagnostics and data analysis of test failures.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conduct battery testing at cell pack and device levels
Develop automation test scripts for test equipment (cycler temperature chamber DAQ system etc.)
Perform failure analysis and provide summary of test reports
Partner with contract manufacturers to execute comprehensive battery cell pack and device level testing
Collaborate with battery electrical and system engineers to establish test parameters
Maintain laboratory equipment and testing infrastructure
BS in EE Computer Engineering or related field
Strong fundamentals in knowledge of electrical engineering
SQL or Python experience for data analysis
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience with electrical designs including power sequences regulators embedded communication bus and power states
Common bus protocols such as SPI I2C UART
