GUEST SERVICES HOST
Reports To: Commercial Operations Manager
Department: Guest Services
Status: Part-Time Seasonal
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Guest Services Host is the front-line ambassador of Granby Ranch responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to all guests. You will assist visitors with information support ticketing rentals and ski school operations resolve guest concerns and ensure a welcoming and seamless mountain experience.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Greet guests with enthusiasm and provide accurate friendly and helpful information about the resort mountain conditions activities and services.
- Assist with guest check-ins and general inquiries at locations needed.
- Resolve guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally; escalate when necessary.
- Monitor and manage guest flow in high-traffic areas to ensure a positive experience.
- Collaborate with other departments (ski school rentals lift operations etc.) to support a seamless guest journey.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the main hallway and outside areas where guests will be at.
- Stay informed about daily events mountain operations and weather updates to relay accurate information to guests.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Commercial Operations Manager or supervisor.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with Commercial Operations departments as needed.
- Maintain an exceptional level of guest service in all interactions with guests fellow employees and other departments.
- Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
- Highly developed customer service skills.
- Ability to handle guest interactions both positive and negative in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a demanding fast-paced work environment.
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Must be able to lift up to 30lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a variety of weather conditions.
- Must be available to work weekends holidays and peak season periods.
