DescriptionOracle is seeking an exceptional Software Development Architect to join our Security team and lead the design of secure-by-default architecture across our SaaS platforms. This is a strategic role that will shape how we build deploy and maintain security at scale across Oracles cloud-native services.
Youll be at the forefront of embedding advanced security controls directly into our systems enabling continuous security validation and automated threat response. This role offers the opportunity to drive technical innovation while significantly reducing security incidents and operational overhead across Oracles global SaaS
ResponsibilitiesArchitectural Leadership
- Design and implement scalable secure-by-default architectures for Oracles SaaS platforms
- Lead cross-functional collaboration between engineering and security teams to establish unified secure development practices
- Drive the evolution of our security architecture to support emerging threats and compliance requirements
Security Automation & Innovation
- Architect automated security testing detection and remediation systems that operate at cloud scale
- Design continuous security validation frameworks that integrate seamlessly with development workflows
- Build intelligent threat detection and response capabilities using modern distributed systems patterns
Technical Strategy & Execution
- Provide technical leadership on complex security challenges across multiple product teams
- Establish architectural standards and best practices for secure cloud-native development

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge skills experience market conditions and locations as well as reflect Oracles differing products industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
