Project Engineer
Minneapolis MN $90000-$120000 Direct-Hire Full-Time Onsite
We are seeking a skilled and driven Project Engineer to join a fast-paced engineering team. This role is focused on the design development and delivery of advanced electro-mechanical components for a range of high-performance applications. Reporting to the Engineering Manager the Project Engineer will lead and support projects that require technical problem-solving product development expertise and strong collaboration with manufacturing suppliers and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design analyze and develop precision-engineered electro-mechanical components and assemblies.
- Lead and manage engineering projects using established principles and best practices.
- Plan schedule and prioritize project tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing engineering suppliers and customers to resolve technical challenges.
- Develop test and validate theoretical designs to meet performance requirements and customer specifications.
- Review customer documentation and provide design solutions optimized for manufacturability and assembly efficiency.
- Participate in technical discussions and contribute innovative ideas for continuous improvement of products and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electro-mechanical product design.
- Background in Electrical Engineering is a plus.
- Experience with metal stamping plating machining and plastic injection molding processes.
- Strong communication leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software required; SolidWorks highly preferred.
