Our postgraduate education pathways (Remote Health Practice program) provides workforce development through Indigenous health and clinical skills training and we have a community driven research program led by researchers committed to improving health outcomes. We work alongside Poche SANT focussing on Indigenous leadership capacity development and developing the Indigenous health workforce. All activities are driven by our values which focus on the long-term and short-term needs of the NT community.
About the Role
Under general direction the Student Support Administrative Officer is responsible for coordinating the delivery of the teaching program for Year 3 Northern Territory Medical program students and clinical placements for medical students from Flinders University and other partner universities within the Northern Territory. This role involves providing informed advice and support to students academic staff and professional colleagues requiring a strong understanding of course structures and assessment requirements. As a key member of a small administrative team you will work collaboratively to ensure high-quality consistent administrative support and service delivery across the NT.
About You
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
A diploma qualification with at least two years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education training and experience.
Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to prioritise tasks use initiative and meet competing deadlines.
Proven ability to manage complex timetables involving multiple stakeholders and locations.
Experience in tertiary education administration particularly in student support and in rural or remote learning contexts.
A current and valid drivers licence.
