Job Description:
Are you ready to take on the challenge of becoming a Material Support Services Representative within Airbus Defence and Space Netherlands
WORK LOCATION FOR THIS POSITION IS IN THE NATO BASE OF EINDHOVEN NETHERLANDS.
Position grading: Below Band V in Airbus DS Netherlands
RESPONSABILITIES:
For the Multinational MRTT Fleet (MMF) contract of NATO under his/her responsibility the job holder:
Ensures fulfilment of Materiel Support customer requirements and Manage In Service Support contracts in reference to spares and repairs aspects.
Is responsible for maintaining clear direction and continuous alignment of MRTT Customer Services Programmes and Material Services strategies (targets and priorities) identifying potential issues and ensuring their resolution.
Is accountable to ensure all Material Services related activities are managed in line with Programme targets and policies (Time / Cost / Quality).
Ensures a pro-active End to End materials issue management process covering all Material Services Centres of Competences and support functions (Procurement Quality Finance etc.).
Is responsible for the coordination and deployment of MRTT Material Services policies with Airbus DS local teams in the Air Bases.
Ensures actions are well coordinated within Material Services to anticipate issues and reach Material Services key financial and performance commitments.
Gives the visibility of the main critical issues recovery plans owners and impact dates to the Customer Services Programme and Material Services Management synthesizing the actions which have to be escalated to the top Material Services / Customer Services Program Management.
Ensures that Material Services view is communicated and considered within the Programmes.
Is part of the decision making process for the Material Services activities impacting the MRTT Programme for Full In Service Support contract.
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
The jobholder will be responsible of the replenishment orders of the HITW.(inventory management)
The jobholder will be responsible to maintain the correct level of stock(inventory management)
The jobholder will be responsible to control the expiration date and replenishment date of the consumables.(Inventory management)
The jobholder will monitor and control the order book.
Supplier(Ordering)
MoB/ HiTW(Ordering)
The jobholder will provide support on the quotation process of all the requests received by the customer for both spares and repairs out of the contract.(Ordering/ contract management)
The jobholder will ensure the repair process is launched for any repairable item and will provide feedback to the customer for the estimated delivery dates of the serviceable units. (Ordering)
The job holder will notify to the Material Support organization on a case by case basis any urgency or risk escalated by the customer.(Ordering)
The jobholder will verify that the repairable item is shipped with the correct documentation dully filled-in in the correct packaging conditions and will support the shipment of the goods.(Warehouse / Transport Operations)
Upon resolution of the repair the jobholder will ensure that the repair management process is closed properly.(Ordering)
The jobholder will follow up the repair order book in order to ensure the item is return to the HITW on time.(Ordering Warehouse operation)
The job holder will identify the list of pending items: Available in stock under repair process in purchasing process.(Ordering inventory management)
The jobholder will identify the Critical items & On ground A/C materials(Ordering Technical background)
The jobholder will anticipate the inputs needed to elaborate the list of materials required for scheduled maintenance activities.(Ordering Technical background)
The jobholder will liaise with the customer to ensure the timeline delivery of serviceable items following the customers request. (Ordering)
The jobholder will also ensure that the items are delivered with the appropriate shipping and quality documentation.(Ordering Contract management)
The jobholder will support the customer in the reception and acceptance process of the materials shipped and will provide a first-level support for the on-site resolution of any discrepancy found.(Ordering Warehouse operations)
The jobholder will provide first-line support to the customer for interchangeability issues applicability of P/Ns and any other technical issue that may arise related to materials.(Ordering technical background)
SKILLS:
Were seeking dynamic candidates with a Degree in Engineering (aerospace engineering preferred) experience in Materiel Support topics and desirable skills in Finance Improvement Projects and Performance/KPIs management. Fluency in English and Spanish is essential.
