The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Villanova University is seeking applications for a Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor for the 2025-2026 academic year. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Psychology Neuroscience or a closely related discipline. Candidates should be prepared to teach core courses in Psychology and/or Cognitive & Behavioral Neuroscience. Duties And Responsibilities
Our new colleague will teach undergraduate/graduate courses in biopsychology methodology introductory psychology and other foundational courses in Psychology and Neuroscience as determined by the department chairperson. Other tasks related to the academic functioning of the department college and university will also be part of the responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Psychology Neuroscience or a closely related discipline with proven achievement or clear aptitude for excellence in teaching.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level in psychological and brain sciences.
