Job Summary
Methodist Healthcare System is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Outpatient Cardiology team in San Antonio TX. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a collaborative group of cardiologists in a patient-centered environment focused on delivering high-quality cardiovascular care.
Position Details:
Conduct outpatient cardiology evaluations follow-ups and routine management
Collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Educate patients on cardiovascular health medications and lifestyle modifications
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical meetings
Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Texas
National certification (AANP ANCC or NCCPA)
Experience in cardiology or internal medicine preferred
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
