Job Title:
Quality and Reliability InternJob Description:
Quality and Reliability students will be involved in various aspects of the roles at Allison Transmission Inc. Key learning and development areas of quality with respect to warranty & issues tools development structured problem solving techniques data analysis quality audits and commercial industry customer quality expectations. Student will work closely with their assigned supervisor and complete a specific quality project during the assignment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- No experience requirement current enrollment in a 4-year engineering program with 3.0 GPA or higher
- Strong desire to learn about quality and technical roles in the automotive industry and ability to work in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to communicate well in a business setting and across functional areas
- Ability to read and interpret data and technical information
- Proficiency with computer operation including Microsoft Office tools and exposure to programming
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic technical concepts corresponding with school year
