Option period:2 x 6 months
Location: Stavanger or Bergen
DP Drilling & Well (D&W) is responsible for planning and execution of Interventions Plug & Abandonment (P&A) Drilling Completion and Subsea operations for new wells on both fixed platforms and mobile installations. We are currently seeking engineers to join our Drilling & Well Planning teams. These teams play a key role in supporting the Well Construction Process and D&W operations with work locations in Stavanger and Bergen.
Tasks and Responsibilities
The engineer will be responsible for planning and design work related to upcoming operations. Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Planning and preparing for execution of Drilling & Well activities
- Supporting and following up on daily operations
- Facilitating experience transfer and preparing well reports
- Collaborating across disciplines selecting methods assessing risks and recommending necessary equipment
- Offshore travel may be required upon request
Competence Requirements
- Masters or Bachelors degree in relevant technical disciplines
- Valid Offshore Safety Course (required for certain roles)
- Valid IWCF certification (required for certain roles)
- Fulfillment of internal competence requirements
