We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Corporate Governance & Remuneration Team as a Technical Sales Specialist Compensation and Governance Solutions in Oslo.

As a Compensation & Governance Solutions Sales Specialist at ISS-Corporate you will be the technical backbone of the sales process and a vital link between the Sales team and the global Product and Advisory teams. Leveraging deep expertise in executive remuneration board advisory and regulatory compliance you will play a pivotal role in keeping ISS-Corporates offerings innovative impactful and competitive in a rapidly evolving market. You will contribute to building a new agile team within the structure of a global company driving business success along the way.

Your role and responsibilities will include:

Serve as the technical expert in client meetings leveraging deep product and governance knowledge as well as insights into the customer journey to effectively address objections provide technical and commercial clarity and drive sales.
Collaborate with Sales Representatives to strategize on key opportunities emphasizing the value of ISS-Corporates remuneration and benchmarking offerings tailored to client needs.
Collaborate with Account Managers to develop new sales opportunities highlighting the added value of ISS-Corporate solutions and engaging with existing clients.
Master ISS-Corporate SaaS solutions including Executive Compensation Benchmarking Peer Group Selection and Pay-for-Performance modeling. * Gather and follow a data-driven approach to client feedback ensuring offerings meet client requirements and align with emerging market needs.
Work closely with internal teams (Sales Product and Advisory) to suggest enhancement and improvements in products client deliveries and sales processes.
Stay updated on remuneration and governance trends key market trends (SRD II UK Corporate Governance Code Say-on-Pay results and proxy voting guidelines) and the competitive landscape.

Qualification and Skills

Bachelors degree in Finance Law Business Administration or a related field.
Strong knowledge of corporate governance and remuneration frameworks such as incentive plan design (STI/LTI) Shareholder Rights Directive II (SRD II) disclosure requirements and voting policy alignment (e.g. ISS/Glass Lewis guidelines).
3-5 years of work experience ideally in a customer-facing role such as remuneration consulting governance advisory technical consulting product or sales engineering.
Familiarity with enterprise software solutions SaaS products and/or other financial data platforms compensation tools and advisory services. * Outstanding communication commercial acumen and presentation skills to effectively explain complex pay-for-performance methodologies in a clear and compelling way and position solutions and services in a way that resonates with General Counsels and HR Directors builds trust and drives conversions.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning deep-diving and researching in various topics as well as adapting to shifting market demands customer requirements and sales cycles.
Collaborative mindset working effectively with the Sales Product and Advisory team as well as external stakeholders.
Languages: English and German is required French Spanish and Italian are a plus
