About the role:
As a ServiceNow Senior Developer you will hold a pivotal role within our organization leading the design development and implementation of solutions on the ServiceNow platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand requirements drive technical innovation and ensure the effective delivery of IT service management (ITSM) solutions. This position demands expertise in ServiceNow a strong commitment to excellence and a drive to optimize business processes.
. Responsibilities:
. Solution Design: Lead the design and architecture of ServiceNow applications ensuring alignment with organizational requirements and best practices.
. Development: Take charge of developing complex ServiceNow solutions including applications modules and workflows to automate and optimize business processes.
. Customization: Customize ServiceNow forms fields lists UI components and user experiences to meet specific business needs.
. Scripting Mastery: Demonstrate mastery in scripting including writing server-side and client-side scripts (JavaScript) such as Business Rules Script Includes and UI Actions.
. Workflow Excellence: Develop and optimize workflows business rules and automation scripts to streamline IT and business processes.
. Integration Leadership: Lead integration efforts with third-party systems and applications overseeing data consistency and smooth data exchange.
. Service Catalog Innovation: Drive enhancements to the service catalog encompassing catalog items variables and order guides and collaborate with stakeholders to expand service offerings.
. Incident and Problem Management: Manage and enhance incident and problem management processes including incident categorization prioritization and timely resolution.
. Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and reliability of ServiceNow solutions through thorough unit testing system testing and debugging.
. Documentation Leadership: Lead efforts in documenting technical solutions system design documents process flows and best practices for the benefit of the team and the organization.
. Continual Service Improvement: Participates in Continual Service Improvement activities as required by customer demands.
. Collaboration Excellence: Collaborate closely with diverse teams including administrators business analysts and IT stakeholders to implement solutions and drive improvements.
Candidate requirements:
. 7 years of demonstrated experience as a ServiceNow Developer
. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification is highly desirable.
. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification is highly desirable.
. Basic understanding of IT service management (ITSM) processes.
. Expert with following applications ITSM ITOM Discovery / Event Management CMDB and CSM.
. Proficiency in JavaScript HTML CSS Angular JS and other web technologies.
. Expertise in ServiceNow scripting including Business Rules Script Includes client scripts workflows and Flow-Designers.
. Expertise in Service Catalog development and catalog integration with other systems.
. Hands-on experience with ServiceNow UI builder Virtual Agent & AI tools.
. Experience in implementing integration with multiple third-party tools.
. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new ServiceNow features and best practices.
