The opportunity
As a global leader in power semiconductors we offer one of the most diverse product portfolios including thyristors diodes GTOs IGCTs IGBTs andMOSFETs recognized by industry power transmission & distribution mobility renewable energy for their ultimate in quality and an on-site IT Support Specialist you are the first point of contact for technical inquiries and support. You ensure that all IT systems function smoothly and provide valuable assistance so our employees can complete their tasks without issues. Your work directly contributes to user productivity and satisfaction.
How youll make an impact
Troubleshoot IT issues quickly and reliably
Prepare and configure devices and software for users
Provide user support and training for self-help tools
Manage the physical inventory of devices and accessories update the configuration database (CMDB) and conduct regular stock checks
Organize the transport and redistribution of devices between locations and collaborate with local logistics partners
Work with OEM manufacturers to process warranty claims ensuring the quality of our devices
Identify potential risks that could affect service quality and take proactive measures
Ensure that IT equipment in meeting rooms and workspaces is fully functional for optimal collaboration
Your background
Completed IT education or equivalent qualification
Fluent in German and English both written and spoken
Independent solution-oriented and calm under pressure
Strong team player with a sense of responsibility
Solid IT knowledge and troubleshooting skills
