We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Internal Document Review Attorney to join our Workers Compensation practice. This attorney will be responsible for reviewing analyzing and summarizing case documents to support litigation strategy and trial preparation.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of workers compensation law and excellent written communication skills ensuring accuracy compliance and efficiency in the review process.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive review and analysis of case files discovery responses medical records QME reports depositions and other litigation-related documents.

• Identify relevant facts key issues and case trends to support trial attorneys in hearings trials and settlement negotiations.

• Draft concise case summaries document review notes and recommendations for litigation strategy.

• Ensure accuracy consistency and compliance in internal case documentation and legal records.

• Collaborate with trial representatives paralegals and managing attorneys to ensure timely and effective case preparation.

• Assist in the preparation of exhibits evidence binders and supporting documentation for trial.

• Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest ethical standards in handling client information.

Qualifications :

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Active member of the California State Bar (in good standing).

• 13 years of legal experience; prior exposure to Workers Compensation law highly preferred.

• Strong legal research analytical and writing skills.

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of documents efficiently.

• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with attorneys and staff.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software.
