Job Summary
SHIFT: 6:00am - 6:00pm CST. Thursday Friday Saturday every other Wednesday.
Core Responsibilities:
- Request quotes from approved suppliers and submits to purchasing.
- Compare vendor pricing lead times and warranty terms.
- Maintain relationships with OEMs and third-party vendors.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and change control procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and restock as needed.
- Perform cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Respond to internal requests for parts and provide status updates.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong Excel proficiency.
- Familiarity with SAP system.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Typically requires completion of secondary school vocational training or equivalent with experience in the use of computer applications.
- Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of administrative experience within the materials planning or related function.
- Use of the following tools may be required: Office Skills: typing telephones office software to include word processing spreadsheets presentation packages and database systems Experience in the use of computer applications Inventory Experience BAAN or any ERP experience Inventory Cycle count.
- Demonstrates functional skills. Demonstrates basic functional process knowledge and participates in process improvement.
