Job Description
This position is assigned to the Police Training Divisionand is responsible for providing administrative support to staff members. The incumbent will compile monthly reports order supplies perform audits of equipment used for training and manage class rosters.

Essential Duties
  • Performs basic office duties such as copying filing faxing typing standard documents preparing sorting
  • Answers phones and directs calls to appropriate parties
  • Distributes mail
  • Maintains files logs and forms
  • Carries out testing procedures (asneeded)
  • Performs other duties of a similar nature or level
Other Job Requirements/Information
  • This job is a safety sensitive position that will require a pre-employment drug test and subsequent random drug and alcohol testing.
  • This job is a civilian position in either a public safety department or in Information Technology with close ties to public safety. Due to the sensitive nature of this position a public safety background which may include motor vehicle & criminal histories and fingerprinting.
  • This job requires fingerprinting.
Grade
The grade for this position is 97. Salary will be dependent on education and experience.

Effective 4/11/2023 this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma and
  • Two (2) years of administrative support or related office experience or
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above
