Clean Harbors inBrampton ON is seeking aField Service Technicianto join their safety consciousteam!This roleis associated with hazardous waste clean-up site remediation equipment decontamination working in confined spaces and the handling of hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices policies and processes and always acting in a safe manner.
Operates light and heavy equipment including but not limited to pumps vacuum trucks and equipment oil spill boom generators bobcats etc.
Performs chemical and water spills and environmental clean-up.
Performs Confined Space entries -working with Tank and Vessel Cleaning.
Performs work at heights on platforms.
Performs various tasks associated with Hazardous Waste and Waste cleanups.
Performs a variety of labour project work.
Handles various hand tools and powered industrial tools including pressure washers etc.
Wears respirators for work.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Class G license and must have reliable transportation.
Comfortable driving to various site locations throughout Ontario based on need.
Previous labor/hazardous waste removal experience is highly preferred.
Experience with industrial cleaning and working with chemicals is highly preferred.
Ability to perform physical labor duties routinely lift and move objects.
Comfortability with being trained to work in confined spaces & heights.
Ability to be clean shaven and wear respirators for work when required.
