About the Role

Environmental Service Assistants hold a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment at Tallangatta Health Service.

As an Environmental Service Assistant you will conduct general cleaning functions across our staff and consumer facilities to ensure a safe comfortable and hygienic environment. This will include vacuuming mopping cleaning bathrooms and kitchens and basic laundry tasks.

Part of a small but mighty team Environmental Service Assistants engage with consumers and staff as tasks are carried out across residential Aged Care rooms common areas and offices. A friendly demeanor and can-do attitude will prove a great basis for success.

Positions are now available for casual or part time (up to 0.6EFT) employees. Shifts are spread across a seven-day roster from Monday to Sunday between the hours of 7:00am and 8:00pm.

About you

Strong communication and customer service skills
Previous experience in cleaning desirable but not mandatory.
Ability to be flexible demonstrate initiative and work effectively in a team environment
Adaptable to change and have a commitment to continuous quality improvement

All appointments are made subject to the required security screening including National Criminal History NDIS Worker Screening checks andan immunisation status appropriate to the role.
