Job Summary
Inteldot has over 14 years in the life science industry and beyond with allocations across Puerto Rico the United Sates Europe and Japan. This is a great opportunity for one of our leading clients in Puerto Rico.
We are seeking an entry to mid-level AWS / Azure System Administrator to provide on-site support for our clients IT operations in Puerto Rico. This role is ideal for motivated professionals who are eager to grow their expertise in cloud systems administration while supporting mission-critical environments locally.
Key Responsibilities
- Support configure and maintain AWS and/or Microsoft Azure environments.
- Perform system monitoring maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Assist with deployments upgrades and configuration changes.
- Collaborate with IT security and application teams to ensure system performance and reliability.
- Document processes configurations and system changes.
- Support disaster recovery planning and execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering Computer Science or Information Systems (required).
- 14 years of experience in system administration (entry to mid-level).
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure environments.
- Knowledge and experience in the development of AWS or Azure tools (automation scripts resource templates deployment pipelines or similar).
- Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server administration.
- Familiarity with networking storage and security best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Preferred but not required: Relevant certifications (e.g. AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate).
Work Location & Eligibility
- This is an on-site role in Puerto Rico. Remote or offshore candidates will not be considered.
- Only candidates who are currently legally authorized to work in the United States and reside in Puerto Rico will be considered.
- Visa sponsorship relocation assistance or remote work arrangements are not available for this position.
