About the Role
Cairns Private Hospitals Day Surgery Unit is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our supportive and patient-focused team. This is a part-time position (60hrs per fortnight).

In this role you will work across the Day Surgery Unit Endoscopy Unit and Pre-Admission Clinic providing high-quality specialised care to patients throughout their surgical journey.

Our Day Surgery Unit offers elective surgeries and diagnostic procedures in a modern comfortable environment with a private recovery area designed to support patient comfort and wellbeing under the care of skilled nursing staff.

Your Skills and Experience

You love the challenge and the satisfaction of working at the top level of practice in private health care and are passionate about utilising evidence-based practice within our wards.

Current registration with AHPRA.
Minimum 1 year post graduate experience in an acute care.
Previous surgical or orthopaedics experience.
Flexibility and ability to work in a varied and fast-paced environment.

Experience within an endoscopy or surgical unit will be highly regarded. The right candidate must be willing to be trained in endoscopy unit if they do not possess experience in this specialty.
