Zions Bancorporation seeks a detail-oriented Enterprise Spread Review Specialist for our Centralized Spreading/Quality Assurance Review team. We need someone who can review account data verify information for quality and accuracy and mitigate risk. We need someone who can come up-to-speed very quickly. This position will be located in Salt Lake City Utah.

Conducts quality assurance reviews for financial statement spreads performed by field officers or fulfilled through the use of artificial intelligence.

Provides support and guidance for spread requests made by bank employees.

Resolves issues to facilitate the Risk Grading of spreads.

Completes consolidations and projections as requested by bank employees.

Analyzes and spreads complex business financial statements or business tax returns using Moodys CreditLens.

Acts as a source of knowledge to bank employees for spreading standards accounting principles and team procedures and processes.

Resolves spreading issues between bank employees and team members.

Assists in preparing reports utilized by Senior Management.

Takes a lead role in spreading activities and assists in QUIQSpread and CreditLens training and certification development.

Makes recommendations to improve risk management processes.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business or a related field.

Foundational understanding of accounting principles and the structure of key financial statements (e.g. income statement balance sheet cash flow statement).

0-2 years experience with credit/financial spreading and analysis financial spreading systems and basic credit/lending principles or other directly related experience.

Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot to support daily tasks and improve efficiency.

Moodys CreditLens certification preferred for internal candidates.

A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing financial data.

Ability to identify inconsistencies errors or omissions in financial spreads.

Foundational understanding of quality assurance or audit practices in financial environments.

Effective communication and collaboration skills with lending officers and internal stakeholders to make sound decisions and recommendations regarding spreads.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of other software tools (e.g. Adobe Acrobat Microsoft Office Suite).
