The ideal candidate at minimum must have the following:
Option 1:
Completion of undergraduate core program in social or behavioral science health or pre-medicine or comparable field; 18 mos. delivery of human services health care services or medical assistance in governmental community or private human support services agency or medical provider.
Or
Option 2:
Completion of graduate core program in social or behavioral science or medicine-related or comparable field; 6 mos. delivery of human services health care services or medical assistance in governmental community or private human support services agency or medical provider.
Or
Option 3:
Equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.

Pay Information
This position is in the State of Ohios SEIU/1199Pay Schedule Pay Range 12. Unless required by legislation or union contract starting salary will be the minimum salary of that pay range (step 1 currently $31.74per hour). These ranges provide a standardized pathway for pay increases. With continued employment new hires move to the next step in the range after 6 months and annually thereafter. Cost of Living Adjustments increase wages in these ranges each fiscal year. The current step progression wages are in the table below.

The Office of Child Support
This position is in the Office of Child Support establishes policies and guidelines for the child support program based on federal and state laws. Ohios child support program provides services to help ensure that children receive the financial and medical support they are legally entitled to and deserve. What Youll Do
This position is responsible for performing compliance oversight research validation and review of title IV-D program requirements as executed by federal state local and vendor employees. This position also requires the delivery of human services that includes explaining & applying child support laws policies & procedures mandated by Ohio Department of Job & Family Services and knowledge of Ohios Support Enforcement Tracking System (SETS).
Day-to-Day you will:
Conduct case reviews in accordance with established child support laws rules and policies.
Participate in workgroups or meetings as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
Collaborate with OCS Training Development or act as a SME in statewide training as assigned.
Create and/or update Compliance training as assigned.
Conduct federal tax information (FTI) safeguarding visits with all 88 counties specific state agencies and applicable vendors.
Monitor shared resource mailboxes; respond to county state and vendor employee inquiries and requests.
Monitor assigned program Teams sites for county and state inquires.
Work with program partners counties and vendors to facilitate resolutions to corrective actions.
Facilitate applicable system enhancements to the Self-Assessment system.
Update the Self-Assessment system review questions and mapping in accordance with rule requirements and/or statute changes.
Facilitate applicable enhancements to the Reduction of Permanently Assigned Arrears tracking system and process in accordance with rule requirements and/or statute changes.
Review and approve state ROPAA requests that exceed the statewide maximum.
Assist with master planning and project planning activities.
Analyze data and prepare meaningful reports for counties and management.
Collaborate with a team.
Work independently.
Necessary Skills:

Analyze data to craft and tailor reports for different audiences.
Challenges:You will work under tight deadlines deal with complex matters and must be readily available for county child support agencies.
Schedule:Full-time
Hours: Standard workdays are Monday through Friday. Hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Travel: You will travel outside of your headquarters approximately 25 to 30 percent of the time as needed.
