You will be responsible for leading a pooled team of P&O professionals providing operational leadership and ensuring high-quality people services across NRCs Head Office Representation Offices and Roving teams. What you will do:
As the P&O Partner Lead you will:
Lead and manage a pooled P&O team ensuring effective resource allocation and delivery of services.
Partner with senior management group to influence people strategies policies and initiatives.
Drive collaboration between union representatives and managers to boost staff development retention wellbeing and ensure fair compensation benefits and incentive systems for NRC Head Office staff.
Provide operational and strategic support on HR matters including workforce planning recruitment learning and development and Duty of Care.
Oversee policy reviews development of systems and tools and embed change management principles to ensure smooth adoption of new P&O procedures.
Ensure alignment with Norwegian labour law NRC standards and donor requirements while fostering strong collaboration with unions and other stakeholders.
Act as an escalation point for complex HR cases and provide business-focused risk-balanced solutions.

What you will bring:
A bachelors degree in human resources Business Administration or a related field.
At least 8 years of HR management experience preferably in an international or humanitarian context.
Strong track record of leading teams driving organisational change and delivering results in complex environments.
Fluency in English and Norwegian both written and spoken.
Solid knowledge of HR principles employee relations and labour laws (with emphasis on Norwegian law).
A collaborative people-focused approach with the ability to influence advise and build meaningful relationships across diverse teams.
What we offer:
Duty station: Oslo Norway.
Contract: Permanent.
Travel: up to 10%.
Salary/benefits: grade 10 on NRCs salary resident scale with accompanying terms and conditions.
