Job Summary
Amazon Now operations is looking for an experienced area manager with a strong record of achieving results. We are looking to hire a Manager to join the team that redefines fast delivery helps us build and run this new service for our customers & oversee 3P on the road (OTR) Operations.
When you join Amazon as an area manager youll gain experience leading a large and diverse team to make sure your area of the business keeps pace with this hands-on role youll learn about the complexity of operations at a global business and what it takes to make everything run seamlessly. While you implement your teams approach to drive productivity youll also work closely with your colleagues/teams to address challenges which means no two days will be the same.
Key job responsibilities
- Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing
- Analyze and implement corrective actions to make sure quality productivity and SLAs are at consistently high levels and business objectives are met across all shifts
- Manage OTR operations with 3P to drive the weekly monthly and quarterly plan in-line with other stakeholders management.
- Manage OTR Supervisors to have a standardized daily routine for supervisors managing UTR in each dark store
- Support and lead a team and handle administrative work alongside building and supporting a strong team culture
- Analyze performance and suggest process improvements to optimize work and improve customer experience
- Collaborate with other managers to standardize shift processes
- 1 years of employee and performance management experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent or 2 years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
- Can push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shifts
- 1 years of performance metrics process improvement or lean techniques experience
