This field-based underwriting role is dedicated to driving new revenue growth for multiline accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing triaging underwriting and quoting submissions as well as securing binds to meet individual production goals while adhering to Chubbs high standards of underwriting excellence and compliance.
The ideal candidate will bring strong underwriting expertise exceptional communication and organizational skills and the ability to cultivate and maintain impactful relationships. This role requires effective collaboration with agents and internal partners across Field Underwriting Distribution and Operations to ensure seamless processes and superior service delivery. Candidates with experience in Commercial Lines Property & Casualty underwriting and a proven track record of driving profitable new business growth are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Multiline Underwriting:Underwrite and manage multiline accounts including Package Umbrella Workers Compensation Auto and ancillary lines while adhering to established underwriting strategies authority levels and compliance standards.
- Cross-Selling Opportunities:Identify and cross-sell additional lines of business to maximize revenue per account including Property & Casualty Multinational Financial Lines Cyber Accident & Health and other relevant products.
- Agency Growth:Partner with local Business Development Managers to identify growth opportunities and enhance production within assigned agencies.
- Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong productive relationships with assigned agents to drive profitable growth and ensure long-term success.
- Desk Management:Maintain disciplined desk management practices including production planning forecasting and monitoring the performance of the assigned book of business.
Qualifications- Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in commercial lines underwriting with a focus on Package underwriting.
- Proven ability to leverage technical analysis and underwriting expertise to drive profitable new business growth.
- Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and build trust with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining integrity and professionalism.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and results-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and achieving business objectives.
The pay range for the role is $85000 to $130000. The specific offer will depend on an applicants skills and other factors.
