About the role

As an Assistant Information Systems Officer youll play a key role in supporting and enhancing the organisations digital infrastructure. Youll be responsible for providing support to a range of customers and users. You will work closely with the Senior Information Systems Officer and other teams to ensure system reliability and user satisfaction. This role offers a dynamic mix of operational support and project-based work making it ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems streamlining processes and contributing to the continuous improvement of digital services that support community outcomes.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience in software analysis and problem solving with a proven ability to identify issues and manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting users that have limited exposure to software product usage.
  • High level understanding and skills in workflow and database software and data.

Essential requirements

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification and/or demonstrated relevant equivalent professional experience.
