Job Summary

Are you an NGS expert looking for flexible consulting opportunities Lighthouse Lab Services is seeking an experienced Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) Consultant to join our network on a 1099 contract basis. This role offers the chance to make an impact by supporting laboratories as they launch optimize and expand their sequencing capabilities.

What Youll Do

Apply your expertise across both wet bench and dry bench NGS workflows.
Advise on laboratory layouts and upfits to improve efficiency and compliance.
Support validations for new assays and instrumentation.
Review and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure quality and regulatory readiness.
Provide ongoing guidance to labs navigating NGS implementation and operations.

What Were Looking For

Hands-on experience with NGS wet bench methods and bioinformatics analysis.
Background in laboratory operations with knowledge of validations and workflow optimization.
Familiarity with lab design setup and process improvement.
Strong communication skills and a consultative mindset.
Prior consulting or project-based experience is a plus.
