RAM & SAFETY ENGINEER (SIGNALING)

As a RAM and Safety Engineer (Signaling) you will have the opportunity to shape the future of rail signaling technologies and make a significant impact on the safety efficiency and sustainability of rail transportation. Key Activities
  • Conduct risk assessments and safety analyses (e.g. FMEA FTA)
  • Prepare documentation to demonstrate compliance with RAMs requirements (Safety Case)
  • Develop and implement RAM strategies
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
  • Support engineering (software E-engineering) in implementing RAMs requirements
  • Create and maintain all process-related documents (e.g. RAMs plan)
  • Verification of customer requirements regarding reliability maintainability and maintenance efforts (RAM/LCC) within the scope of quotations and projects
  • Derivation of requirements for subsystems and assemblies concerning RAM/LCC
  • Prepare RAMS-LCC documentation for customer projects
Qualifications
  • Bachelors or masters degree in engineering
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in RAM and safety engineering.
  • Experience with safety standards (ISO 26262 IEC 61508 etc.)
  • Experience with the application of railway-related guidelines and standards for functional safety (EN 50126 EN 50128 EN 50129 and IEEE standards CSM-RA or comparable) in rail vehicle construction and/or signaling
  • Knowledge of reliability engineering tools and techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and quality-focused with a commitment to delivering safe reliable and high-performance signaling systems.
  • Fluent in English German is a plus
