Available Shift/s:

A Shift (Monday through Friday) 6:50 a.m. to 3:10 p.m.

Essential Functions:

• Maintain scheduled cycle counts daily
• Maintain reporting accurate data to cycle counts daily
• Responsible for proactively escalating issues to prevent inventory stockouts or overages
• Responsible for investigating discrepancies
• Responsible for working with other departments for countermeasures to discrepancies
• Responsible for identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and submitting ideas
• Responsible for accurate timely and economical inventory by achieving company inventory turn goals
• Responsible for identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of material processes and submitting these ideas
• Maintain company KPIs
• Use company equipment/resources properly and safely and adhere to safety regulations
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Perform special assignments as delegated

Qualifications:

Knowledge skills & abilities:

• Must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office.
• The ability to be agile.
• The ability to prioritize competing task requirements.
• The ability to establish a daily routine that ensures proper follow-up of all assigned responsibilities and that efficiently executes daily task requirements.
• The ability to collect organize and analyze information from different sources for decision making purposes or process improvement.
• The ability to positively calmly and clearly communicate with co-workers

Education: College degree or equivalent experience preferred

Experience: Minimum three to five years of experience required in manufacturing and related plant operations including two years of experience with inventory control systems and best practices.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Some supervision of counters during inventory periods

Working Conditions:

Physical Demands: Occasional lifting of 35 lbs. doing counts of parts; repeated bending over to count parts and squeezing through small spaces (the person needs to be fit)

Travel: Minimal except for occasional training

Work Environment: Office and shop floor
