Senior Consultant Client Servicing

Role Summary

The Senior Consultant on the Investment Operations Outsourcing (IOO) SME/BA team is a strategic business analyst and subject matter expert responsible for leading the transformation of client reporting platforms with a strong emphasis onCORIC-to-Kurtosys migration. This role combines deep domain knowledge of IOO processes with hands-on experience in business analysis data architecture and stakeholder engagement. The consultant will also play a key role intraining team membersidentifying data gaps andrepresenting Northern Trust in vendor discussions.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Documentation

• Lead the creation ofBusiness Requirements Documents (BRDs)and functional specifications for reporting and data transformation initiatives.
• Conduct detailedgap analysisdata mapping andworkflow assessmentsto support platform migrations and enhancements.
• Translate complex business needs into actionable technical requirements for development and configuration teams.

CORIC & Kurtosys Expertise

• Serve as theprimary SME for CORIC with deep understanding of layouts data blocks and reporting logic.
• Drive themigration from CORIC to Kurtosys including:
  • Designing and configuring workflows
  • Supporting data visualization and reporting logic
  • Ensuring data integrity and alignment across platforms
• Provideongoing supportfor monthly and quarterly reporting cycles on both platforms.

Training & Knowledge Sharing

• Develop and delivertraining sessionsfor team members on:
  • CORIC reporting structures and logic
  • Business analysis best practices
  • Kurtosys configuration and reporting workflows
• Create reusable documentation templates and knowledge assets to build team capability.

Data Gap Identification & Remediation

• Proactivelyidentify missing or insufficient data pointsrequired for successful Kurtosys migration.
• Collaborate with internal Northern Trust data teams toensure required data fields are availablein Snowflake or other relevant databases.
• Draft and validate requirements for new data views or tables to support reporting needs.

Stakeholder & Vendor Engagement

• Represent Northern Trust invendor calls articulating business requirements clearly and driving issues to closure independently.
• Collaborate with internal partners (e.g. NA BAs data teams) to align on requirements timelines and deliverables.

Participate inclient onboardingandnew instance testing ensuring readiness and quality

Qualifications

Required Skills

• 8 years of experience ininvestment operationsmiddle office orasset management.
• Proven experience as aBusiness Analystin reporting or data transformation projects.
• Hands-on expertise inCORIC (Equisoft)andKurtosysplatforms.
• Strong understanding ofIBOR reportingworkflow controls anddata governance.
• Excellent communication documentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional initiatives.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Finance Business Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)

Eligibility for Internal partners

• 3 years as a Team Leader to move as a Section Manager currently at an Officer level.
• 24 months as a Consultant to move as a Senior Consultant. Movement within Senior Consultant and Section Manager is applicable if they have prior 36 months of people management experience.
