Job Summary

FRONTIER COOPERATIVE is an agriculture leader in Nebraska providing grain agronomy feed and energy products and services to our customers. We are now hiring for a Seasonal Scale Operator for our Palmyra NE location.

Essential duties:

Weigh and grade grain for inbound and outbound trucks.
Work with customers to verify scale tickets and print reports.
Answer telephone promptly and direct calls as needed.
Provide a high level of customer service by addressing patrons in a prompt efficient and courteous manner.
Work with other office personnel on special projects perform other duties or activities as needed or directed by supervisor.
General office clerical and housekeeping duties as needed.

Job skills and requirements:

Ability to work flexible yet sometimes extended hours to meet business demands during harvest.
Basic Computer Skills.
Ability to communicate effectively take initiative and problem-solve when necessary.
Provide exceptional customer service.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs. on occasion or when needed. Frequent sitting standing walking twisting bending reaching pushing pulling may be needed.
Must be able to work near grain dust and particles within the scale house areas.
