About the role

Are you passionate about driving organisational learning and development We are seeking a dynamicLearning and Development Program Senior Specialistto lead the design implementation and reporting of high-impact programs across our corporate L&D suite. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping our learning culture managing multiple projects and ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.

You will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of L&D initiativesfrom strategic planning and stakeholder engagement to procurement and quality assurance. Your work will directly contribute to the professional growth of our workforce and the long-term success of our programs.

This role will be based within the Essential Energy footprint with the ability to work from home in a hybrid work environment.

You thrive in complex environments managing and facilitating multiple programs simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of delivery. Youre confident in engaging with senior stakeholders presenting ideas and influencing outcomes.

About Your Skills

  • Strong strategic and innovative thinking with the ability to generate new ideas and approaches.
  • Proven project management skills to initiate maintain and control multiple programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including report writing and presentation development.
  • Advanced research analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders to embed change.
  • Highly organised adaptable and able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Skilled in training facilitation identifying and solving complex change management challenges.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources (with a focus on employee development)or
  • Degree in Adult & Education Training (with an organisational focus)or
  • Demonstrated capability through relevant experience and/or qualifications.

Desired Experience

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent/higher qualification.
  • Certificate IV in Project Management Practice or higher qualification.
  • Professional experience in a similar L&D program management role.
  • Proven experience managing multiple programs using project management methodologies.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement strategic planning and change management.
  • Demonstrated leadership in developing and implementing L&D strategies and initiatives.
