Job Summary
Job Title: Dietitian
Location: Syracuse NY 13210
Job Type: Contract 13 Weeks
Pay Range: $45 $48 per hour
Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (weekend coverage as needed)
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Dietitianfor an exciting job in Syracuse NY.
Responsibilities
Provide MNT and evaluate patients nutritional status using evidence-based screening tools
Diagnose malnutrition and develop individualized nutrition care plans to improve outcomes and reduce hospital stay
Manage therapeutic diets nutrition orders and supplements in collaboration with physicians
Oversee and adjust enteral/parenteral nutrition therapies including formula selection and supplementation
Document assessments interventions and outcomes accurately in the EMR system
Support Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
Actively participate in interdisciplinary care rounds staff training and departmental meetings
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in inpatient and/or critical care nutrition
CNSC certification (Certified Nutrition Support Clinician) strongly preferred
Strong clinical judgment and the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
Excellent communication and documentation skills
