TECHNICAL COORDINATOR Part-Time/Non-Exempt/Hourly REPORTS TO: WEEKEND SERVICES TEAM LEADER
PURPOSE: The Technical Coordinator will bring a multi-faceted knowledge of the latest technology in worship (i.e.- lighting digital audio com systems multi-tracks in-ear systems soundscapes planning center livestream technology video projection etc.) to oversee and assist with the various audio/visual technical needs and processes of Christian Life Center through technical preparation.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: The Technical Coordinator is directly accountable for following all official and functional procedures and policies of Christian Life Center and is expected to engage in cooperative actions and relationships with the staff and congregation. On occasion you may not agree with the philosophy or procedure used but loyalty and support of the Lead Pastor and the rest of the staff is essential.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Spiritual maturity and commitment to a Christian lifestyle and to CLCs values
- Attends weekly service and is actively involved in serving and growth opportunities at CLC
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment creative and on the cutting edge of artistic technology and innovation
- Have a general operating knowledge of industry best practices and trends. (Equipment includes JVC cameras Kramer video systems; Canon PTZ robotic cameras Jands/Chroma-Q lighting consoles ClearCom Intercom system ProPresenter Planning Center Online DSLR and ENG-style cameras - 3D modeling software a plus)
- Skilled in light construction and the use of power tools.
- Highly organized and self-motivated to tenaciously drive projects through to completion to meet deadlines.
- People-oriented with ability to lead and care for volunteer teams relationally spiritually and technically
- Ability to adapt to the creative preferences of CLC and his/her leaders
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The primary responsibilities of the Technical Coordinator are to ensure all worship and presentation venues are maintained and operational with technical excellence throughout the CLC campus. Assist with event setups and collaborate to recruit/train volunteers for the production teams.
- Support the vision and priorities for weekend team leaders and volunteer teams.
- Prepare all equipment for audiovisual elements for all services live streams and special events.
- Programming of lighting for weekend services under direction of Worship Leaders and Production Coordinator
- Assist with implementing maintaining and growing AVL technology in various ministry areas and cultivate and foster a commitment to excellence
- Implement/monitor systems for equipment purchases inventory logs and equipment maintenance.
- Maintain the AVL systems in classrooms and install/update as necessary
- Assist with scheduling stage design teams and equipping them with the necessary materials for their project
- Model and hold the standard for clean and neat technical spaces.
- Other duties as assigned.
