Part 2 Architectural Assistant Glasgow
Aztrum is delighted to be working with a forward-thinking design practice known for creating sustainable contemporary homes inspired by traditional forms. With an expanding portfolio of exciting residential projects across Scotland and beyond my client is looking for an experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join its growing Glasgow studio.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all project stages contribute to design-led housing and develop your career within a supportive and innovative practice.
Key Responsibilities for this Part 2 Architectural Assistant role:
- Assist in the development of creative design concepts for residential projects
- Produce high-quality architectural drawings 3D models and specifications
- Support project management activities including coordination with consultants and contractors
- Contribute to planning applications building warrants and construction documentation
- Attend site visits and inspections gaining valuable exposure to project delivery
- Engage with sustainable design approaches and industry innovations
Requirements for this Part 2 Architectural Assistant role:
- RIBA Part 2 qualified (Masters in Architecture or equivalent)
- Minimum 23 years experience in practice ideally with residential project exposure
- Strong understanding of RIBA Stages 07
- Proficiency in Revit
- Excellent design technical and presentation skills
- Strong communication and client-facing abilities
- A proactive collaborative approach with a keen eye for detail
